This coix seed lotion toner is a cult-favorite in Japan. It deeply penetrates the skin to hydrate, soothe, and prep the skin for serums and moisturizer. This facial essence is rich in vitamin B and amino acids, to boost hydration and achieve soft, mochi-like skin.

Key Ingredient: 

• Hatomugi (coix seed or Job’s Tears): A natural anti-inflammatory ingredient that helps calm redness and acne.

How To Use: 

• As an everyday toner:
  • After cleansing the face, pour a quarter-size amount into the palm of your hand.
  • Gently pat the product into the skin, then apply 2-3 more layers, or until your skin is cool and fully hydrated.
  • Follow up with a moisturizer to seal it in. 
• As a mask: 
  • After cleansing the face, take several peelable cotton squares and stretch them out by gently pulling on the sides.
  • Then, thoroughly soak the cotton squares with the Hatomugi skin conditioner.
  • After soaking the cotton, apply it to your face.
  • Repeat until you have covered your entire face (forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose).
  • Leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes, then remove and pat excess lotion into your skin. 

Hatomugi skin conditioner can also be applied to the body to hydrate and soothe after sun exposure.
